Youth Month
Throughout April, we're celebrating all things kids! From activities in the branches to our sticker contest, your little ones and teens will want to start saving and celebrate wins.
Save a Little, Grow a Lot
April is Youth Month, a time to help kids and teens build smart savings habits and get excited about setting financial goals. Throughout the month, we’re celebrating young savers with fun activities, special events, and opportunities to learn just how rewarding saving can be.
Whether your child is just getting started or already building great money habits, Youth Month is the perfect time to celebrate progress and take the next step together.
Join in the Fun
When kids under 18 visit a branch, fill out a card with their savings goal, and make a deposit into their savings account, they'll get a prize!* It’s a simple and exciting way to encourage children to think about what they want to save for and to start building healthy financial habits early. Whether they’re dreaming of a new bike, a special toy, or their first car, we’re here to cheer them on.
Saturday, April 25 from 10:30 – 11:30 AM
Book Reading at the Capitola Library
Join us for a special Youth Month story time at the Capitola Library featuring a reading by Christina Davis, the author of Tilly the Troll's Shopping Spree.
This family-friendly event is a fun way to celebrate reading and financial education during Youth Month. Bring the kids and enjoy a treasure hunt, wearable craft project, and child-friendly refreshments.
Signed books will be available for purchase at the reading!
